[theqoo] 171111 Did Jimin enroll as the top student of his class or just of Busan High School of Arts' Dance Department?
By jim-in - July 04, 2018
The top student doesn’t usually come from the dance department yet Jimin did it. Students from other departments came to see him. I've seen these rumors before and I think during TCOMR, they mentioned he was the top student of the dance department. So which is correct?
Comments
- He was from the dance department and enrolled as the top student of his class.
- It's not a rumor. He enrolled as the top student and took an oath.
- Enrolled as the top of his class in an art school? Outstanding!
- He enrolled as top of his class and it's correct that he did take an oath.
- Jimin told us that he took an oath. When did I hear it? Wasn't it in Weekly Idol?
- Ah, I just realized that I sounded like saying him enrolling as top of his class was a rumor. No, I was wondering if other departments' students coming to watch him was a gossip.
- Yes, I did understand what OP said. In Spring Day's behind the scenes, Jimin mentioned about enrolling as the top student. He was really shy about it.
- He was from the dance department and he did well in his studies too? I joined the fandom late and just found out yesterday.
- Yes, Jimin officially said it and people who know him said it officially. Jimin was the first ever to enroll as top student from the dance department class.
- Well..both are correct. He did enroll as top of his class but is also the first ever from the dance department. Usually, the top student comes from the music or art department.
- Then TCOMR should've said it more clearly. They should've said, Jimin enrolled as top of his class in Busan Arts High School, and majored in modern dance. I made a bet regarding this and I am getting a free meal. Ah! Where can I watch when Jimin said this?
- It's where Jimin did his splits. I think it's Shindong Radio.
- Yes, yes. When he was in Junior High, he had really good grades so his teachers were disappointed when Jimin decided to go to High School of Arts. His grades were enough to get accepted to Foreign Language High School. I think he had the perfomance score of 60 and a written score of 40? Anyway, his grades weighted a lot too. About 13 years ago, someone who enrolled as top student like Jimin in the High School of Arts was in top 10-20 in junior high. When Jimin decided to be an idol, his high school teachers were disappointed again. He has so much potential!
- Wow...Daebak... Jimin's ability is real...
- He did enroll as the top student of his class so he took the oath representing freshmen. Teachers from other departments came to see him. He got shy and went around hiding from them. I heard this from his alumni.
