[DC Gallery] 180209 Personality Analysis, I'll write one too

By jim-in - July 05, 2018

Talented, passionate, diligent worker, constantly practicing, perfectionist, not a show-off, having a consistent patient mentality, overcoming stressful and harsh demands, having a challenging spirit, having a musical sensibility

Who is this about?

These are characteristics of successful dancers commonly stated in books or articles.
Is there a person that comes to your mind immediately after reading this?
When I saw this I thought it was totally Jimin.  After getting to know Jimin, I thought there's no way he wouldn't be successful.

Jimin has a sense of grasping situations.
He is careful with his decisions.
He has a driving force and a nature of pursuing his goals.

Jimin really is a fairy and an angel; he has a sentimental personality and it's a shame that fans overlook this.
It was a hard decision to make when Jimin dropped out of Art School to became a trainee. Normally, when you change your career it's easier to take a different path if what you're doing is not working out. But when you have a currently stable path and you drop that to take an uncertain road, it's very difficult. Even though you want to do something different, you feel it's going to be a waste.

Not everyone can do it, but Jimin made that bold decision.

Jimin has great qualities.
His courage to take an uncertain path,
His mentality that can endure stress and high intensity tests,
His passion in immersing himself in pursuing matter he likes,
His diligent nature that grinds and polishes the talent that he was born with.
Ah...He's so pretty and incredible.

And I am going to talk about self-esteem.

When Jimin said, "I can't do this well, I don't think I am good," others interpreted it as him having low self-esteem. Don't go around making this shallow analysis. Because afterwards he said, "So I am going to put in more effort and practice more."
Why exclude what Jimin says after?

A person engaged in performing arts that needs to show everything has a tendency to be a perfectionist. People who succeed in this field, most of them are perfectionists.
This isn't a bad thing. It is a driving force and motivation to bear dull and repeated practices.
First of all, these peoples' standard of achievement is different from the others.
People with this propensity in front of others saying, "I can't do this well", means same as, "This is my challenge and I am going to do better!"
Actually, managing his appearance, taking control of his dancing and singing-- he has accomplished all the goals he has set (for himself).

I'll write once more for people who can't read long writings.

I can't do this well + avoiding problems = low self-esteem
I can't do this well + overcome by effort = desire to have strong achievements

While watching Jimin's interview video, I realized that he's the person who likes his head on the games. To be honest, I have a heart that is as delicate as a glass. So I get moved and my heart aches watching Jimin face the goals that were given to him by others, or goals he set for himself, without running away or being hesitant. But then as expected, I think of how cool he is.

There are so many "psychologists" in this fandom, so I decided to write one of these analysis too. The delusion believing we know everything inside the stars' head is so funny.  It's hard to tell members' face apart with our naked eyes during concerts and reality is without binoculars or screens. Some feel like they became best friends with them who listen to their problems just by tapping keyboards a couple of times. Some feel like their mom who gave birth to them so they think they know everything about them, and some feel like HR person who evaluate and exercise influential power however they want. To think that you and the star are in a close relationship is a fantasy and it's like cheap hallucinogens. I haven't lived in this world for a very long time but as I get older, it's hard to understand other person's minds and I feel that through my bones. It's hard to understand a person's true feelings, even for parents, kids, lovers or friends.  So carelessly talking about others or spreading rumors is disrespectful and is a sin. When you want to talk however you want believing that you know your child best, think of all the parents who are convinced that they perfectly figured out they could manage their child, only to harass and destroy their relationships in the end.

Comments

  1. 100% agree. Jiminie definitely doesn’t have low self-esteem. He’s a perfectionist so he has different standards than the others.
  2. They call themselves a fan yet talking however they want really brings down my feelings. It’s really an over-reaction believing they are in his head because they feel close to him.
  3. He has different standards than others and has high self-esteem. Jimin I love you.
  4. I was surprised when he said he likes the Hulk the best in a past interview because Hulk simply destroys without special skills.  He doesn’t use his head or makes excuses  and simply works hard and achieving his goal in the end. But then thinking like we know everything after seeing what’s shown on the surface is crossing the lineㅎㅎ
  5. It’s really well written.  People only see what they know. How incredible Jimin’s effort and passion is.  How incredible is his sense of accomplishment and self-esteem.  Only ones who know are the people who see properly.
  6. Agree
  7. It’s too hard and they’ll probably run away if were asked to do the same as Jimin, but it’s just funny to watch when they talk so easily.
  8. What freak said Jimin has low self-esteem? That person has zero cognitive ability. ㅋㅋ I don’t think they even know what self-esteem is.
  9. I totally agree with this post! We need to stop acting like we know everything about Jimin.
  10. There are many people who don’t know Jimine well that believe he’s friendly, acts kind and delicate. But Jimin is very strong and has high self-esteem so he’s able to show off his charm well.
  11. Jimin is very mature , has very strong driving force. He also has a strong mentally and it's really cool.
  12. It’s from people who don't know that as the rice ripes more, it bends it’s head.
  13. Just look at the path that Jimin took. If he didn't believe in himself, how was he able to (achieve his goal)? He believed in himself so he was able to put effort into it.
  14. Wow. Cool. You write really well. The OP figured out the star really well in this analysis, and I felt that I was understanding Jimin correctly. I was feeling yes, this is it, while reading intensely. Truly, Jimin’s passion is like a pro's and my belief passed beyond respectfulness to phenomenal. Seeing his growth speed is faster than the others, I sometimes think just how far could he go?
